Pick up from Cochin airport/Ernakulam railway station then proceed to Munnar. Munnar is sprinkled with vast expanses of tea plantations, waterfalls ,rivulets and more. Morning after breakfast proceed for Munnar Sightseeing. Sightseeing includes Echo-point, Mattupetty Dam where boating* facilities are available here . Then visit Eravikulam National Park (Rajamala) ,to see the Neelgiri Thars*. The park is breathtakingly beautiful and is easily comparable to the best mountain ranges found anywhere in the world. Back to Munnar and do shopping .Overnight stay at Munnar . Note: Due to breeding season of the Nilgiri Thar, the sanctuary will be closed from Feb 1st to Apr 30th, 2016.
Morning after breakfast check out hotel and proceed the journey to Thekkady. Drive through panoramic western ghats hills covered with spice plantations and occasional view of waterfalls and streams. On arrival at Thekkady check in to the hotel. Go for Boating in Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary*.This is the only sanctuary in India where you can have the unique experience of viewing the wild life at close quarters from the safety of a boat. If time permits go for spice plantation tour* and Elephant Ride*.Overnight stay in Thekkady.
Morning after breakfast proceed to Kumarakam. By noon check in at the resort/hotel in Kumarakam. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight stay at Kumarakam.
Morning after breakfast proceed to Alleppey. By noon check in at the house boat (kettuvallam) in Alleppey for a 20 hour house boating through the legendary backwaters of Kerala. On the way you will witness a full range of lifes and activities and some mind boggling sceneries. Overnight in the house boat. House boat is a private boat with fully furnished spacious bath attached bed rooms, hygiene kitchen ,dining area and private front deck to capture the beauty of the back waters.
Morning after breakfast check out from the houseboat and proceed to Kovalam- the internationally renowned beach destination. Spend the rest of the day in the sandy beaches of Kovalam flanked by coconut groves on one side and Arabian sea on the other. Overnight at the beach side hotel.
Morning after breakfast Visit Napier Museum and Sri Padmanabha Swamy Temple in Trivandrum .Then back to hotel .Overnight stay at Kovalam.
Morning after breakfast check out hotel then proceed to Trivandrum airport / railway station for onward journey.
